If you like great wine and have daydreamed about trying your hand at making some, then you are a perfect match for this hands-on winemaking class. You'll learn about the process from writer and award winning winemaker Scott Mansfield!
We will start a batch of Stags Leap AVA Merlot from a kit, bottle a finished batch, sample some finished wines, and you'll leave with a bottle to take home. You'll learn that kits are an easy and inexpensive way to make great wines of almost any varietal.
As in all pariSoma CoLearning classes, snacks and beverages will be provided!
About your Instructor
A longtime gardener, cook, award winning winemaker and writer, Scott Mansfield 
has made wine, beer, cider, and all manner of fermented beverages from local ingredients for the last 15 years. He has written Strong Waters, a very well-received book on the subject. Scott is currently hosting classes and events related to the book as well as writing beer and wine-related articles.
